\/ *random* Do you think about/take into consideration where your food comes from? i.e. fruit from abroad which brings along with it a carbon footprint, how animals have been treated in the meat industry etc

^ I try to buy fair trade items where ever possible, but when you're on a budget it can be alittle difficult. I don't know if you saw the show on BBC3 recently (something like Kill It, Cook It, Eat It) were they showed you how the animals were slaughtered, but that really turned me from red meat. I tend to only eat chicken at the moment, free range where possible. I personlly think it tastes better too.

V What came first: chicken or the egg?

^ The answer depends on whether you are a creationist or an evolutionist. If you believe in the literal story of Man's creation as told in Genesis, then it quite plainly states that god created all the animals in their present forms. Subsequently, there was no death in the garden until Adam fell, so one might naturally assume no new life as well, otherwise the Garden would get real crowded, real quick. So if you believe in the Judeo-Christian God as outlined in the Old Testament, then chickens came first. However if you believe in evolution, then quite obviously the egg came first as dinosaurs laid eggs millions of years before the first chicken even thought of getting hatched.
