No matter what everyone sais, I think this is the best album of Green Days', it grows the more you listen to it, it still grows on me and I've listened it through like 200 times or something. My personal favorite from this album was very hard to say, so many good songs. But I think I have to go with American Eulogy though, always good, and somehow I feel addicted to it. Smile

I do love it, but it doesn't beat Nimrod or Kerplunk, just because both of those record mean so much to me.

I found that some songs i didn't like at first are really starting to grow on me now. For example, i wasn't sure about Peacemaker, but now it's one of my favourites. The one song i don't really like is Christian's Inferno. It's not a bad song, but to me it feels like it should have been a Network song...not that The Network are Green Day or anything *shifty eyes*

21st Century is not my favorite album, even American idiot comes before..and im not a HUGE fan of American Idiot
I love most songs on American Idiot, its not that. I jsut dont know..
Anyways.
And i agree with Shell on Christians Inferno.
I believe Fink came over and helpt out on that song cause.. its not a Green Day song
It sounds deffenetly to be a Network song.. and yeah its not like The Network is Green Day in ANY way shifty

But look at the U.K charts at the moment. There is very few decent albums by rock bands in there. And all success is welcome, no matter where from.

For Swedish gold, it requires 20,000 copies to be sold from what I understand. And that isn't so wierd. Most of Sweden indeed got shit taste when it comes to music, but Green Day isn't really... well you know.. hardcore music.. people swallows it and buys the record. Green Day is a prefect balance between pop and punk.

Amazing album, the only way I can describe it to people who havn't listened (as everyone after AI waited in baited breath as whether it'd beat it) and I tell them it well and truly does. Larry Livermore wrote a blog on it, and I completely agree with what he says about it: http://larrylivermore.blogspot.com/2009/05/21st-century-breakdown.html
