downshefalls, about the camera thing, email the venue. I did that just to check before I went. There's no point in either not taking it and missing out cause you could've, or taking it and getting it taken off you. Email them a few weeks before your show, tell them the make and model of your camera, explain it's not a professional one and that it doesn't go over the lens limit.

xD I didn't queue outside the venue, we got straight in. And then I waited around for the merch stand to open, then the cloakroom, and we could hear the fucking soundcheck through the walls...

...so like the whole waiting bit was dancing to the soundcheck.

So what did everyone think of Prima Donna? I think out of the supports that they've had/announced so far (including Jet for our Aussie friends) that we've had the better band. I wasn't much of a Prima Donna fan before, but they were really good live.

Prima Donna suck.

I like Franz. Kaiser Chiefs I coulda lived with. Jet? Sure, why not. Prima Donna? Uh, no thanks.

I really enjoyed Prima Donna's set, much more than I would have if it had been the Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand The Bravery or Jet. Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred someone else, but they did a great job. Even my Green Day hating brother now has two Prima Donna songs on his iPod, so if anything has come from this, it's that he's now listening to better music than before xD

Prima Donna.. well I dunno, I haven't heard enough of them yet to tell if I really like them or not.. they were good live indeed. I guess they're ok judging by the songs I've heard.

I think I'd agree with you, but it's knowing that they'll be in my city and I (probably) won't be going that's killing me. And if they take another 5 years to make the next album...I'm not sure I can hold out that long

Hmm, seeing that with every album they've changed from what they were before. It's hard to predict the next one cause this album pretty much covered a wide territory in genres'. I guess.. Let's see, first song, Starts off with only Billie Joe, singing opera with the most epic solo going on on his guitar... meh, yes I am bored.

Just have to mention the show in Gothenburg, it was the most amazing one EVER. I almost cried in the end when he sang When it's Time. I thought that Bullet in a Bible would be the best live show they would ever play, I was soo wrong. But yeah lately, from all the feedback they've been getting.. I think they're as good as they can get live. Okay I should probably delete my last sentence cause they always prove me wrong but meh..
